Here’s my Poseidon.
Love him or hate him – Gerard Butler embodies my take on the Greek God of the Seas.

Maybe it’s the eyes…

The twist of the mouth… But he’s it. He IS My Poseidon. What do you think? Not too shabby, huh
?
Now, I have a huge favor for you. I cannot find my Aphrodite!
I know, I know, everyone thinks sex and sensuality. And while that’s true, she’s the Goddess of LOVE. So I’m looking for a woman that embodies love, and all it’s various forms… It’s not easy. So, I’m hoping you’ll take a minute or two and share your top picks!
THANK YOU!!!

Yay!! Love Gerard. As far as Aphrodite, I know people won’t like jy choice but Angelina Jolie was the first that came to mind. Second choice? Mariska Hargitay. Can’t think if any others. Can’t wait to see who you choose!
YES (fist pump)!! Why was I so into this? Who cares, it was fun. Alright, bring on Aphrodite!
Halle Berry! She’s ridiculously beautiful, no one questions her sex appeal and on top of that, she seems to be a great mother and genuinely kind person. Plus, she’s got a fantastic figure without being skin and bones. I think Aphrodite should be curved in all the right places.
I love him! But I have no idea about Aphrodite. Let us know who you choose.
Happy Holidays!
Here’s another random thought; Christina Hendricks from Mad Men? She’s certainly working the voluptuous curves and I love her beautiful red hair.
Am I getting farther away or closer to what you’re looking for?

No – she’s Gorgeous and super hot. I’m not sure i want my Aphrodite to be super hot or sensual, like Christina is so (she’s AMAZINGLY beautiful!)… but keep ‘em coming Charity! And thanks for being so supportive of my searches
!
I’m so sending you the first book for free – when it comes out!
You’d think I have nothing more pressing to do, but you’d be wrong! It’s just that my “to-do list” is far too long and boring. Plus, it’s fun to see how you envision your characters. So, your thoughts on Halle Berry…too sensual as well? How about Monica Bellucci? Her beauty and sensuality are tempered by her age. Not that her age lessens those things, just gives them an added quality. Maybe a richness? I don’t really know what I’m talking about.
Oh, and I’m very much looking forward to reading anything you publish, free or not! I just think it’s great that you’re finally getting so much validation for something that I know you pour your heart and soul into. It’s inspiring!

I don’t know why I think she should be blonde, but it seems like Aphrodite is fair-haired. Charlize Theron comes to mind. Actually, I think Michelle Pfeiffer is the most beautiful blonde I can think of, but her look is too edgy for the classical goddess.
I know. I had a hard time with the hair color… Charlize Theron and Michelle Pfeiffer are both beautiful women, but they can look very vengeful – so they’re not quite right. But, it’s not like I’m actually casting a movie or anything
(I WISH) – this is for the imagery in my head. When I write, it’s like I’m watching a movie. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
