Today I have a fellow DARA member and Plotting Princess as well. She should wear a tiara everyday as far as I’m concerned. Why? She’s Liz Lipperman. If that’s not enough of an explanation, I guess I can give you a bit more. She’s one of those women who is all woman. She has a laugh that invites you to laugh with her, a smile that draws you in, and a real warmth that makes you feel immediately like a friend.
Liz’s Bio:
Liz Lipperman started writing many years ago, even before she retired from the medical field. Wasting many years thinking she was a romance writer but always having to deal with the pesky villains who kept popping up in all her stories, she finally gave up and decided since she read mysteries and obviously wrote them, why fight it? Two years ago, she signed her first contract withBerkleyto write a cozy series writing as Liz Lipperman.
The first book of her Clueless Cook Mystery Series, LIVER LET DIE, debuted in October, 2011 with BEEF STOLEN-OFF releasing in July 2012. MURDER FOR THE HALIBUT is coming January 2013 and CHICKEN CACCHIA-KILLER in the fall of 2013. Look for HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE, a paranormal mystery series involving five sisters COMING next May from Midnight Ink and download MORTAL DECEPTION, a romantic mystery, now from Amazon. Both the mainstream mystery and the romantic mystery are written as Lizbeth Liperman.

ME: Is there an author that you get fan-girl crazy over? Have you ever met him/her? Do you want to?
L.L: I absolutely love James Lee Burke. His descriptive writing is so awesome, I can actually see the dew drops on leaves when he’s describing a tree. I’ve never met him, but his daughter Alifair is now penning mysteries. I have one of hers on my kindle waiting for me to find time!!

Hi Liz,
Can’t wait to read Beef Stolen-off. I remember when we all helped you with the plotting of this book and I can’t wait to see what you’ve done.
Sylvia
Hi Liz,
You have the best titles! Beef Stolen-off. Come on. That’s genius. Do you come up with those on your own, or do they come from your publisher?
Take care,
b
I know! I’m with Barb. Your titles are fantastic. Can’t wait to hear more. oxoxo
Sylvia, I can’t wait for you to read it. I couldn’t have done it without the Princesses. Gear up for my new book in September. I’ll need your help.
Barb, my title for LIVER LET DIE was Ducks in a Row, and my editor came up with the new title because foie gras (fatty duck liver) plays an important role in the mystery. The other titles are all mine, and my editor said the marketing people want to hire me to come up with all their titles!!!
I got the contract for book 4 on the title alone, CHICKEN CACCHIA-KILLER.
And thanks for commenting.
Thanks, Vicki. My life has been so chaotic lately. I really need the Princess retreat.
Hi Liz,
Just got your book in the mail and am looking forward to reading it! Love the titles!!!
Karilyn, that’s funny since I just read one of yours the other night. WEREWOLF in LONDON. Loved it.
Hi Liz,
